Itinerary

Our adventure begins in the heart of Cali's historic center. Here, you'll delve into the rich history of the city as we walk through cobblestoned streets, admiring colonial architecture that has stood since the 18th century. We'll visit iconic landmarks like the San Francisco Church, La Ermita, Ortiz Bridge, the Poets' Park, Caicedo Square, and the Río Boulevard, uncovering the city's best-kept historical secrets.

Traditional Flavors But this tour isn't just about history; it's a culinary journey too. As we explore, you'll savor some of Cali's most authentic delights. Our food journey includes:

  • Cholados: We'll start by refreshing ourselves with a cholado, a delightful mix of fruits, crushed ice, condensed milk, and syrup. It's a flavor explosion that'll make you feel like a local instantly.
  • Lulada Envenenada: Lulada is a refreshing drink made from lulo, a tropical citrus. But, we'll spice it up with a "poisoned" twist - a dash of aguardiente or viche, adding a bold twist to this classic beverage.
  • Desaborrajados: These little snacks are a local treat, made of ripe plantain and cheese fried to achieve a crispy outside and a soft inside. They're a cheese lover's dream.
  • Empanadas: Empanadas are a staple in Colombian cuisine, and Cali's versions are exceptional. Enjoy these delicious meat-filled pockets, accompanied by spicy ají sauce.
  • Guarapo: To cool down further, we'll try guarapo, a sweet, natural drink made from freshly pressed sugarcane. It's a delight that captures the energy of Cali.
  • Chontaduro: We can't conclude our tour without tasting chontaduro, a regional fruit served with salt and lemon. Its unique flavor will leave a lasting impression.
